Yosemite NP was the first of 6 Nat Parks I drove thru on what I called my "Taste of America Tour" in Sept of this year. After helping my sister move to California, I drove back to Indiana alone. I camped in Yosemite & my wife was afraid the bears would get me. They didn't, but the cold almost did. At 8600 ft, I am not use to
34 deg in mid Sept. Get up and get ready in a hurry!!

The wind was streaming rivulet of sand at a high rate of speed a few inches off the ground. Standing in the flow created a very surreal feeling for me. I had a lot of fun shooting this morning despite the fact that ended up with a thick layer of sand inside my car....and in my ears.
