Comment: Manual, ISO 100, f/22, 8 seconds at 6:37 pm. The soft painterly look can be attributed to the IS being left on when the lens was mounted to the tripod…Oops! A mistake that taught me a very valuable lesson..I now double check to make sure the image stabilization is off! A 0.9 straight neutral density filter along with a high f/stop was used to extend the shutter speed giving a silky appearance to the crashing waves and a moose warming polarizer kept the beautiful blue tone of the evening sky unchanged during the length of the exposure.
