The Wind Point lighthouse is located on the west side of Lake Michigan in Racine, Wisconsin.
I am a retired high school English teacher. I live in Niles, Ohio, which is near Youngstown in the northeast corner of the state. My wife, Monnie, who is also a member of this site, and I have two children and four grandchildren. I have been teaching part-time at Youngstown State University for more than twenty-five years, most recently serving as a campus supervisor of student teachers.
As of September 2008, I had photographed 164 lighthouses, at least one on each of the Great Lakes, plus Atlantic coast lights from Maine to North Carolina.
So many lighthouses; so little time!!!
