January 4th, 2003, my photographer friend and I drove 100 miles in very heavy rain and fog to New York City from Pennslyvania to see the twin towers lights. We first tried the New Jersey side but could not see the lights. We then drove to lower Manhattan. The rain stopped for a few minutes. The clouds prevented the lights to shine to the sky. The lights stopped by the clouds looked like the 2 planes were hitting the building. An elderly lady standing next to me said that the glow in the clouds were the victim going to Heaven
