Privacy Policy for MyParkPhotos

We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

Sharing Information with Third Parties
The privacy of our members, visitors and Partner information is important to us, and, simply put, we do not share any personal information with anyone, including Partners or sponsors or third parties, unless a member has provided permission for us to do so.

Disclosure Required by Law
MPP may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to the edict of the law or comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, (2) protect and defend the rights or property of MPP or the users of the website, or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of this website.

Third Party Privacy Policies
MPP is not responsible for the privacy practices of third party affiliated sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these sites.

Children’s Privacy
This website is a general audience site and does not direct its content specifically at children less than 13 years of age. MPP understands and is committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. Should we have reason to suspect that a site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information in that user’s account.

Display of Personal Information
Only a member's name is shown with each photograph displayed or used for promotional efforts by MPP and our Partners. Member's email addresses are not displayed, but used with our forms for use between members and visitors for the purposes of communication.

Personal information (i.e. name, address, phone number, e-mail) collected and stored through the registration process is used to identify new members. As a default, a member’s name, city, and state are disclosed to other members. Members can choose to hide their location as well as set their preferences for receiving e-mails from MPP and/or other members. A member’s e-mail address is never disclosed.

Posting Photographs Containing People
Members are encouraged to obtain release forms and/or consent forms prior to posting photographs depicting identifiable individuals. The consent forms can be downloaded on the FAQ page. MPP does not take responsibility for photographs of individuals posted without their consent.

Collecting, Storing, and Using Personal Information
MPP does not store or otherwise collect for storage any information from either members or visitors, especially any personal information (address, phone number, e-mail address, etc.) when members or visitors use our forms in sending an e-mail/postcard to a friend, or sending a photo or Blog comment.

Information derived through the registration of a new member or photograph is stored in our database and recorded. This includes personal information such as your name, e-mail, address, and phone number. Any information provided through all other forms on our website is not stored after a form has been sent, i.e., the Property Comment, Photo Comment, E-mail a Member, and E-mail a Friend forms.

The use of Cookies
MPP uses cookies to enable members to navigate between pages within the MPP and Partner sites and remain logged in as a member. Since much of the information displayed is according to membership, this is a necessary component of our website. Here is a link to more information on how to enable cookies on your computer if you are having difficulties with the site maintaining your login status: http://www.google.com/cookies.html

Security
MPP implements and maintains reasonable security measures and practices to protect all personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. These procedures apply to the collection and storage of personal data, as well as in instances where such data is provided to third-parties mentioned above.

Members who wish to stop their membership can delete their account by clicking on the MyAdmin tab and editing their profile. Members can also delete one or more photographs or pictures or comments.

If you have any further questions about our privacy policy or have suggestions on how it may be improved, please contact us.

MPP notifies its visitors and members of material changes to the policy by providing a last update date, which also serves as the effective date, listed below.
